Founded by a group of passionate AI practitioners and researchers in the Thames Valley, TVAI emerged from a simple observation: our region was home to incredible AI talent and innovation, but lacked a central hub to bring everyone together.
What started as informal meetups has grown into a vibrant community of hundreds of members, from students taking their first steps in machine learning to seasoned professionals leading AI initiatives at major organizations.
Today, TVAI hosts regular events, workshops, and networking opportunities, while also advocating for responsible AI development and supporting local AI startups and research initiatives. We're proud to be the home of AI in the Thames Valley.
